Who Is Mary Berry On ‘The Great Holiday Baking Show’? 

On The Great Holiday Baking Show series premiere episode “Cookie Week,” talented bakers from across the country “compete in three challenges in which they must create two holiday cookies, demonstrate their cooking techniques and construct gingerbread houses.” One of the esteemed judges is Mary Berry aka Mary Queen of Cakes.

The 80-year-old Berry has written more than 75 cookery books. Her first was Hamlyn All Color Cookbook (Hamlyn All Colour Cookbooks)in 1970. Since then she’s launched her own line of salad dressings and sauces and has hosted several TV shows for the BBC and Thames Television. She’s currently host of Mary Berry’s Absolute Favourites and is a judge on The Great British Bake Off. Berry is also known to be a snazzy dresser. The Guardian placed her second on their 50 Best-Dressed Over 50s List in 2013. The Great Holiday Baking Show airs Mondays at 10pm on ABC.
