A 30-year-old woman named Tanay Rodney Jackson claims to be the daughter of Tito Jackson. She filed a petition in Brooklyn to declare Tito as her father in 2012. At the time she told the New York Post that when she was a teenager, Tito used to tell her that he was her father but he didn’t want it public. “He was ashamed,” she said.

Tanay Jackson, who is an aspiring singer, says she has a birth certificate to prove it but refuses to show it. According to Radar, “her publicist says she doesn’t believe she has to ‘justify’ her DNA.” Tito’s eldest son Taj Jackson said in November 2014: “She has claimed in the past to have a close relationship with us, my brothers and I, to the best of our knowledge, have never even met her.” Well, guess who’s making a guest appearance on The Jacksons: Next Generation, which airs Fridays at 10pm on Lifetime.
