The crime drama Wicked City is set in Los Angeles in the early 1980s. Two detectives — Jack Roth and Paco Contreras — are determined to track down a serial killer who preys on young, aspiring actresses. This isn’t The Mentalist where viewers used to tune in every week to find out who Red John was. On Wicked City, we meet the serial killer, Kent Grainger, in the first episode.

Kent Grainger is portrayed by Ed Westwick. Americans will recognize the English actor from the TV series Gossip Girl (Chuck Bass) and from the Clint Eastwood film J. Edgar starring Leonardo CiCaprio (Westwick played Agent Smith). Westwick can also be seen in the 2015 crime drama film Bone in the Throat
