In the TV movie Are You My Daughter?, Laura Paddington’s daughter Zoe was abducted 17 years ago. When mother and daughter are finally reunited, Laura is overcome with joy. But when things don’t feel right at home, Laura starts to wonder if Zoe is actually her long-lost daughter — or not.

Laura Paddington is portrayed by Brooke Langton. She’s appeared on several TV shows including Bones, Supernatural, The Mentalist, and The Closer. She’s best known for her recurring roles on Friday Night Lights (Jackie Miller) and Melrose Place (Samantha Reilly). Fun fact about Langton: Her first acting job was with director David Fincher (Se7en, Fight Club, Gone Girl) on the set of a Budweiser commercial. The “Ginger vs. Mary Ann” spot aired during Super Bowl XXVII. Are You My Daughter? premieres on Lifetime On October 17 at 8pm. It will air again on October 18 at 12am , 6pm, and 8pm.
