On The Leftovers, an earthquake hits the town of Miracle. When Nora (Carrie Coon) wakes up, Kevin (Justin Theroux) is gone. When the Murphys wake up, their daughter Evie is gone. She went out with two friends that night and never came back. The next day, Kevin wakes up and finds himself in a drained pond – exactly the spot from which Evie and her two friends disappeared. Things aren’t looking good for Kevin.

Evie Murphy is portrayed by Jasmin Savoy Brown. The recent high school grad has been working as a professional actress since 2013. Since then she’s appeared on Grimm, The Fosters, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and The A-List. Evangeline “Evie” Murphy is her first recurring role. The Leftovers airs Sundays at 9pm on HBO.
