Getting dressed up and going trick-or-treating with the kids on Halloween is fun, but most parents dread the day after. What to do with that bulging bag of candy? There’s no way a five-year-old can (or should) eat five pounds of candy. Rob and Laura — a brother-in-law and sister-in-law duo from Salem, Massachusetts — have come up with a brilliant idea.

Switch Witch is similar to the tooth fairy. If a child leaves his/her candy out for the Switch Witch, when she collects it she will leave a non-edible, fun present for the recently retired trick-or-treater — a plush toy of a witch in a cauldron and a sweet illustrated storybook about the Switch Witch. The Switch Witch is available on Amazon (see link/image above). Rob and Laura will pitch their Switch Witch on Shark Tank on October 23 at 9pm on ABC.
