On Couples Therapy, rapper and former Love & Hip Hop star Joe Budden suddenly leaves the house. There was a warrant for his arrest after he didn’t appear in a New York court regarding domestic violence charges brought by a former girlfriend. When Dr. Jenn approaches Joe’s girlfriend Kaylin Garcia, to explain to her why Joe isn’t there, Kaylin doesn’t look surprised. “Did you know about the domestic violence charges?” Dr. Jenn asks Kaylin. “Yes, but I thought they were being taken care of.”

When asked if she was ever afraid of Joe hitting her, Kaylin says no because “I don’t bring that out in him. I don’t provoke him.” Kaitlyn goes on to reveal that her mother used to hit her father. “But then he would retaliate and hit her back.” Dr. Jenn says, “I definitely want to talk about this history, for sure.” Kailyn breaks down crying, “I need your help.” Couples Therapy airs Wednesdays at 10pm on VH1.
