After admitting to having an affair, David Beador, husband of Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador, says he’s committed to making their marriage work. He told Shannon “numerous times, on his own,” that when or if he ever did see the woman he slept with that he would keep walking, “that he will never speak to her again.”

For some reason David recently felt the need to scare Shannon into thinking that he did run into the woman. While she was in the kitchen, preparing a dinner party, David approaches Shannon and speaks in code, leading Shannon to believe that he saw the woman. David keeps implying the encounter was very “strange.” Shannon is stunned. “Did she stop you?” she asks. “Yeah, it was strange.” Turns out, David was just referring to an old friend. Shannon was relieved. But why would David do that? Was that a test, to see how she would react? Real Housewives of Orange County airs Mondays at 9pm on Bravo.
