Two celebrity wives are going to swap lives for a couple of weeks — that’s premise of the reality show Celebrity Wife Swap. But what happens when the two celebrities share a past together? Will they be more critical or more understanding of their differences? In an upcoming episode, entertainers Charo and Jill Whelan will star on Celebrity Wife Swap. Whelan, a former child actor, is best known for her role as Vicki, Captain Stubing’s daughter on the TV hit show The Love Boat. Charo, the Spanish “Cuchi Cuchi Girl,” was no stranger to The Love Boat. She was on the show 8 times!
At 64-years-old, Charo continues to perform her schtick with elaborate costumes, wigs and lots of leg. Not much has changed…on stage or off. Charo’s been married to her husband/manager Kjell Rasten for 36 years! They have one son, Shel Rasten, who’s in the biz, too. He’s an actor. He’s recently appeared in Parks and Recreation, Workaholics, Anger Management, CSI: Miami, and now Celebrity Wife Swap, which airs Wednesdays at 10pm on ABC.
