In the movie Blue Seduction, Mikey Taylor is a washed-up, middle-aged rock star who’s trying to launch a comeback. He’s been sober for ten years, but when he meets a sexy young vocalist named Matty McPherson who fawns all over him, he falls off the wagon. She seduces him and draws him back into his old lifestyle. Turns out she’ll do anything include kidnap his wife Joyce in order to get her fifteen seconds of fame. When Mikey catches on to her, he treats her like a groupie and well, that doesn’t go well.
Mikey is portrayed by Billy Zane (Titanic, Back to the Future, The Phantom). Matty is portrayed by Estella Warren. The Canadian actress has appeared in several TV shows including Ghost Whisperer and Law & Order, and films including Planet of the Apes and The Cooler. Fun fact about Warren: she’s a world-class synchronized swimmer! Blue Seduction premieres on LMN on May 24 at 8pm. It will also air on May 25 (12am) and May 31 (6pm).
