Actress Dianna Agron (Glee) made her debut in the premiere of McQUEEEN at the St. James Theatre in London this week. Agron plays Dahlia, a young women who breaks into the house of fashion designer Alexander McQueen. When caught, she and McQueen “embark together on a journey through London and into his heart.” Stephen Wight plays McQueen. The reviews are in, and they’re not McNICE.
The Brit crits ripped Agron to shreds. American Matt Trueman of Variety didn’t find her impressive either: “Agron… is little more than a clothes horse. She plays up Dahlia’s numbness and ends up vocally monotone, facially inert and deeply unwatchable.”
