Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards has been struggling with her sobriety. She quit drinking three years ago but there have been some bumps in the road. She was recently arrested for public intoxication and trespassing at the Beverly Hills Hotel. While resisting arrest, she kicked a cop in the leg.
Instead of sending herself to a rehab facility, Richards decided to talk on camera with Dr. Phil. She told him that before her arrest she poured a drink of vodka and said, “I thought to myself, oh my god, what have I done.” But when Dr. Phil grills her and asks her if she’s been living a lie, claiming that she’s been sober for the past three years when she hasn’t, Kim walks out as if she’s on the set of a Real Housewives reunion. Her interview with Dr. Phil will be aired on his show, April 28. A TV doctor is not what she needs.
