Six years ago, married couple Brandon and Teresa adopted Carly, the daughter of 16 and Pregnant Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra. Now Catelynn and Tyler, who are starring in Teen Mom OG, are parents to a second baby girl, Nova, whom they will raise. On Teen Mom OG, the biological and adoptive parents of Carly reunite to discuss a few things.
Brandon and Teresa do not want anyone – especially Catelynn and Tyler – posting photos of their daughter on social media. Tyler asks them what’s the difference between that and Teresa and Brandon going on Dr. Drew to talk about the adoption. Teresa explains, calmly, “We have a platform to speak on adoption from an adoptive parent perspective that nobody else has.” Tyler says he knows they don’t need to give him an explanation but says: “But when I don’t get an explanation, I’m all, I’m posting a video. That’s when we get bitter. And I’m just going to do it.”
