TV veteran actor Rob Morrow will appear on an upcoming episode — “Devastating Story” — of Law & Order: SVU. He plays a TV reporter who breaks the story of college student, Heather Manning, who claims she was gang-raped at a fraternity house. The plot is inspired by the story published in Rolling Stone based on a similiar claim a young woman made about a fraternity at the University of Virginia.
Of his role as Skip Peterson, Morrow said, “It’s the big story Skip’s been hoping for. He becomes the catalyst for a long-overdue look at the realities of campus sexual assault.” But the media attention that follows Skip’s interview with Manning disrupts the cops’ investigation. Morrow is best known for his roles in Numb3rs, Entourage (Ari’s attorney), Northern Exposure (Dr. Joel Fleischman), and in the films Quiz Show and The Bucket List. Law & Order: SVU airs Wednesdays at 9pm on NBC.
