American Idol contestants Joey Cook and Quentin Alexander have become fast friends. They’ve come a long way on the show. Both have made it to the Top 7. In between rehearsals, Joey and Quentin make a point of going to Hot and Juicy Crawfish together once a week. “We wear bibs,” Joey revealed to her hometome newspaper, The Daily Press.
But now with their “weekly prime-time exposure” on American Idol, “Every time we walk in there [Hot and Juicy Crawfish], the entire restaurant gets whiplash snapping around to look at us,” Joey said. One night, they noticed a little girl “standing there looking like she would bite her fingernails off.” So the Idols went over to talk to her. Turned out it was her birthday. Joey said, “Little kids’ faces just lighting up when they see you? It’s freaking awesome.” The Top 6 will perform on American Idol, April 15 at 8pm on Fox.
