The winner of American Idol’s seventh season, David Cook, has signed on with Warner/Chappell, the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group. Other Idol alums with Warner/Chappell include Felicia Barton (Season 8). Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert is with Warner, too.
Cook was doing alright by himself. He released his single “Wait For Me” independently last November. But as Cook said, “It’s awesome to be on a different side of this.”
