Armando Montelongo, CEO of Armando Montelongo Companies, is going on Undercover Boss, February 6 (8pm, CBS). Based in San Antonio, Texas, Montelongo claims to flip 400 houses a year. His also runs real estate investment seminars company that the Better Business Bureau has given a grade F, but that’s another story. Montelongo says he wants to go “undercover” to see what keeps his company on solid ground. He also clearly enjoys being in front of a camera. Undercover Boss won’t be his first time on TV. He was on a couple of episodes of A&E’s Flip This House, too.
Before putting on a disguise and hiring a body double — he’s afraid employees will notice him missing — Montelongo admits to having a great life. “If I were reincarnated, I would what to come back as Armando Montelongo.” He goes on to talk about the people who have changed this world — the leaders of industry — “the Rockefellers, the Jobs, the Gates, and I know the Montelongo name can be right up there.”
