The host of Saturday Night Live on October 4 will be former SNL cast member Sarah Silverman. Right in time to promote her latest comedy album We Are Miracles, based on her HBO special. Musical guest will be the Adam Levine led Maroon 5; it’ll be their fifth appearance on SNL. And Silverman’s liquid pot vape pen (which is shared with everyone at the Emmys) is expected to make a guest gag appearance.
Since Silverman’s been yapping away to the media (Jimmy Kimmel, The View, Us Weekly, People) about her new boyfriend, actor Michael Sheen (The Queen, Frost/Nixon, Masters of Sex), fans hope he’ll make a surprise appearance on the show. Likely they would perform a parody of Sheen’s moody, sexy series Masters of Sex. And yes, Sheen does comedy. He played Tina Fey’s stiff upper lip boyfriend on 30 Rock, and stared in Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris. (But don’t mention the latter to Silverman, that’s where Sheen met his previous girlfriend Rachel McAdams. He didn’t want to settle down!)
