Top-ranked tennis star Serena Williams is in New York, one week ahead of the US Open. She’s not getting ready to play tennis, well, not all the time. This week she was seen and heard singing karaoke at a Delta Airlines event in Midtown Manhattan.
Although Williams said karaoke is her “favorite thing” she also admits to singing “like a cat.” Williams performed songs like “Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend” in front of other celebrities including Laverne Cox and Uzo Adbua from Orange Is The New Black, and comedian Kathy Griffin. Williams posted her cat call karaoke video on her Facebook page.
