Lauren Duski is the only country singer left on Team Blake on The Voice, Season 12. (The other two artists on Team Blake who’ve made it to the Top 10 are Aliyah Moulden and TSoul.) All of the coaches on The Voice agree that there is a “purity” to Lauren’s voice that stands out. To advance to the semi-finals, Lauren sang a faster version of the 1993 Wynonna Judd song “Tell Me Why.” Wearing all black, she jammed on the guitar too.

A day after her “Tell Me Why” performance, Lauren wrote: “For the first time that stage felt like home last night.” Her fans felt it too. DLo wrote: “I haven’t listened to country music in a while but Lauren Duski pulled me back in.” The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
