Two of TLC’s most popular TV shows are My 600-lb. Life and Little People, Big World. So a show about obese little people losing weight isn’t a huge surprise. Big & Little is a docuseries that features two obese little people desperate to lose weight. In the series premiere, they meet fellow little person Allison Warrell, a certified physical trainer and bodybuilder who understands exactly what it’s like to be severely overweight and under four feet tall. When she was 35, she was 135 pounds at 3’11” tall. All that changed six years ago when Allison walked into a gym and met her coach Matthew. Now she’s helping other little people to lose the weight.
Before the show premiere, Allison posted a couple of interesting facts about herself including: She was born from average sized parents and has two average sized siblings — and that in 1994 she was featured in the National Enquirer as the World’s Smallest Cheerleader. Watch Allison cheer on her first two clients, Chuck and Ayanna on Big & Little which airs Wednesdays at 10pm on TLC.
