Serial entrepreneur Sidney Torres IV is the handsome star of the CNBC reality show The Deed. Similar to The Profit where Marcus Lemonis works with struggling small business owners to get them out of debt and profitable, New Orleans native Torres helps real estate developers who are struggling to flip properties. In the series premiere, Torres helps a woman who has already sunk $3.5 million into a plot of land on which she wanted to build expensive homes — but it’s still undeveloped.
Torres is known for renovating houses and for creating SDT Waste and Debris Services, an innovative trash removal business that cleaned up the French Quarter in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. His latest pet project is The Cove, a $100 million resort in the Bahamas. The Deed airs Wednesdays at 10pm on CNBC.
