Syfy is reporting live from San Diego Comic Con. The coverage includes sneak peeks and celebrity interviews. One of the most highly anticipated TV movies is Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens. The core cast — including Ian Ziering (Beverly Hills, 90210) and Tara Reid (American Pie) — tell Syfy that the fourth installment is going to be “bigger than ever” and “it goes nuclear.”

At Comic-Con Ziering says: “We stole a little bit from Star Wars. There’s a Kylo Ren sword-chainsaw that we use.” He also revealed that his character Fin Shepard gets to work a mechanical suit with chainsaw arms. Reid’s character April (who was presumed dead in Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!) is back and she’s bionic. Reid says: “She can run faster than the speed of light.” Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens premieres July 31 at 8pm on Syfy.
