As an actress, Rachel Bilson is widely known and beloved for her roles as Summer Roberts on the popular television series The O.C., which aired from 2003 to 2007, and on The CW series Hart of Dixie as the protagonist, Dr. Zoe Hart, from 2011-2015.
Fans were delighted to watch Bilson’s recent return to television when she starred in an episode of FOX’s crime drama Accused. She played a hospice nurse who, after her client died, starts to date the deceased’s husband (Jack Davenport), much to the chagrin of the widow’s son, Danny (Reid Miller).
When not acting, Bilson co-hosts the podcast Broad Ideas, and shares throwback photos of herself as seen in the red, white & blue bikini below. On the Fourth of July, she captioned it: “(In?)Appropriate.”
Bilson’s fans and famous friends are very much there for the photo. As one replied: “This makes me proud to be an American.” Another wrote: “I’ll pledge allegiance to that flag,” and filmmaker Jon Kasdan (The First Time) chimed in: “a true, god-damn patriot.”
