Actress Portia de Rossi is best known for her roles on the popular TV series Ally McBeal (Nelle Porter) with Calista Flockhart as the titular character and Arrested Development (Lindsay Bluth Funke) with Jason Bateman and Will Arnett, among others.

When de Rossi shared the photos below, of her getting hair done, she wrote: “THIS IS A PERM, PEOPLE!! I am so impressed with Janine Jarman (of the Curl Cult salon in Los Angeles) that I had to post the ugliest pic of myself getting a perm just to prove to you what a genius this woman is!”
De Rossi says it’s not an ad (“I am not getting paid for this”) but does point out that she loves Jarman’s “patent pending formula which makes beach waves a reality” and how it makes “my hair feels healthy” and that she doesn’t have to use hot tools to get the desired look.
One more reveal: de Rossi says she air dries her hair “and I always have loose waves no matter how humid it is outside.”
