Actress/model Kate Upton is best known as a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model. She was on the cover of the famous annual magazine three times (2012, 2013, and 2017).
The 31-year-old blonde is also known as the wife of MLB pitcher Justin Verlander, who signed a two-year, $86.7 million contract with the New York Mets in December 2022 (with a $35 million vesting option for 2025).
When Upton dropped the new modeling photos above, she captioned them: “Blue might be my new favorite color…” Mets fans are going wild over the photos and Upton’s color selection. More than one referred it to as “Mets royal blue.” As one fan noted: “Blue with a pop of Orange is the best color combination!”
When makeup artist Kirin Bhatty shared more photos from the shoot, she referred to Upton as “Barbie in Blue” and gave photo credit to Upton’s husband, Verlander.
Get ready to see more of Upton: she will appear next on the big screen in the upcoming comedy Sweet Dreams with stand-up comedians Johnny Knoxville, Bobby Lee and Jay Mohr.
Knoxville plays the protagonist, Morris, “who must coach a misfit softball team of his fellow housemates during his mandatory stay at Sweet Dreams sober living in order to get his life back on track.” Sweet Dreams is written and directed by Lije Sarki (Peanut Butter Falcon).
