Two days after SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher (The Nanny) announced that the union was going on strike, the second part of her new TV series V.C. Andrews’ Dawn premieres on Lifetime.
Set in the 1970s in New York City, the protagonist, Dawn Longchamp (Brec Bassinger), “suddenly has everything she loves ripped away from her.” Drescher, who plays the dramatic house mother Agnes Morris, co-stars along with Donna Mills (Knots Landing), Jesse Metcalfe (Chesapeake Shores) and Joey McIntyre (New Kids on the Block).
When not on a movie set, Bassinger (who most recently starred in Stargirl as the titular superhero character), is often modeling. As seen in the stunning photos above and below, Bassinger struck a pose in a strapless, sheer corset dress while in Vienna, Austria.
Bassinger’s fans and famous friends are going wild over the glamorous look for a charity event for the organization Dancer Against Cancer.
