As an actress, Katie Holmes is best known for her role as Joey Potter in the teen drama Dawson’s Creek which launched the careers of fellow actors Michelle Williams (Brokeback Mountain, Manchester by the Sea) and Joshua Johnson (Fringe, The Affair, Little Fires Everywhere), among others.
Since then, Holmes has landed roles in films including The Ice Storm, Wonder Boys, and Batman Begins, for starters.
The 44-year-old Hollywood star is now directing her own films including her 2022 movie Alone Together.
