Hollywood star Jessica Biel is known for her roles on the family drama 7th Heaven (Mary Camden), The Sinner (Cora Tannetti), and more recently on Candy — she executive produced both The Sinner and Candy.
In the series Candy, Biel plays the titular character, Candy Montgomery, who was accused of murdering her neighbor Betty Gore (Melanie Lynskey, Yellowjackets, Two and a Half Men), after having an affair with Gore’s husband, Allan (Pablo Schreiber, The Wire). It’s set in the 1980s, in the suburbs of Texas.
As seen below, Biel’s real-life husband, Justin Timberlake, appears on the series.
So when Biel shared the fun video below, of her rocking an acid-wash jumpsuit with 80s hair and big frame eyeglasses, one fan excitedly asked: “Is this a Candy prequel?” Dozens of other fans are liking the comment but Biel hasn’t yet replied.

Get ready to see more of Biel: She will appear next in the upcoming Ursa Major. It’s a sci-fi thriller about “a mother (Biel) and daughter who fight to survive on a terraformed planet while hiding from a group of relentless hunters.”
Her daughter is played by Xochitl Gomez (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness); singer/actor Kid Cudi (Westworld) co-stars.
