Country music star Carrie Underwood has amassed 12.5 million followers on Instagram. The 40-year-old entertainer often shares photos and video from the red carpet, from her live performances, and peeks at her personal life with her family and friends.
Underwood recently shared photos from a girl’s trip to Destin, Florida. She went with three women who she considers “sisters.” When she shared the photo series below — be sure to swipe! — Underwood revealed a close-up photo of her in a strapless bikini at the beach and another closeup of her new tattoo.
Underwood chose a single flower for her inner arm.
Not all of Underwood’s fans are pleased to see the new ink. As one replied: “So disappointed with the tattoo.” Another chimed in with biblical judgement: “tattoos are not Christian like. The Bible tells us not to mark ourselves.”
