Before playing Hollywood superhero Captain Marvel (aka Carol Danvers) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, actress Brie Larson won an Academy Award for her leading role in the dramatic film Room.
With the shirtless photos above and below and an in depth interview, the April 2023 issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine addresses Larson’s choice of roles throughout her “windy” career.
Harper’s Bazaar reports: “Hollywood has a well-worn path for “serious” actors. But since winning the Oscar, Larson has become one of the industry’s stealthiest superstars by refusing to stick to the script.”
Larson says in the interview: “What I always come back to is, I have to live with myself in a way that nobody else has to.”
Get ready to see more of Larson: she will appear next on the big screen in Fast & Furious X with Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Ludacris and fellow newbies Jason Momoa and Rita Moreno, among others. Fast X opens in theaters in the US on May 19.
The Marvels, the sequel to the 2019 movie Captain Marvel, is scheduled for a November 10 release.
