On the Season 6 premiere episode of S.W.A.T., ‘Thai Hard,’ Hondo (Shemar Moore) and his former military buddy Joe (who’s now working for an elite U.N. drug unit) are in Bangkok on business.
While training alongside Thailand’s premiere S.W.A.T. team, the two men “stumble upon a wide-ranging heroin operation with ties to Los Angeles and find themselves on the run from a powerful drug kingpin.”
As seen in the sneak peek video above, Hondo and Joe are captured by the kingpin, who tells a kid (wearing an LA Lakers t-shirt) to kill Hondo.
S.W.A.T. airs Fridays at 8 pm on CBS, right before the new firefighter series Fire Country at 9 pm, and Season 13 of Blue Bloods at 10 pm.
