Hollywood movie star Octavia Spencer (The Help, Hidden Figures, The Shape of Water) is a huge true crime fan. With the “air” marching band video below, the Oscar winner announces that her production company Orit Entertainment is teaming up with October Films, “to create premium unscripted true crime TV content.”
Spencer said in a statement: “We are thrilled to launch our collaboration with Highway 20, an incredible series of cases that took place over decades, only recently connected into a larger story – and this is just the beginning.”
Spencer’s production company is also behind Truth Be Told for Apple (see above), Self-Made: Inspired By The Life Of Madam C.J. Walker for Netflix, and the documentary Right to Try (see trailer below).
