Hollywood movie star Jennifer Garner is known for her roles in Yes Day, Juno, Daredevil, and 13 Going On 30, among others. The 50-year-old actress is also known for her TV roles — most famously in the long-running series Alias.
Get ready to see more of Garner: she stars as the protagonist, stepmom Hannah Hall, in the upcoming AppleTV+ series The Last Thing He Told Me, based on the best-selling novel of the same title. It was also a Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick.
For the role of Hannah, Garner is learning how to turn wood as seen the video below. That wooden bowl was a gift to Garner’s “boss lady” Reese Witherspoon who is the executive producer on the project.
@jennifergarner When your next role is a wood turner by trade, and your boss is @Reese Witherspoon — she gets the first bowl you make. Happy birthday, friend! ♥️ (#TheLastThingHeToldMe for @Apple TV+ ♬ original sound – Jen Garner
When Garner shared the photo above, of her peeking out of her trailer on the set of The Last Thing He Told Me, she wrote: “Dream role, dream team.”
One replied to the photo: “Her hair style here reminds me of her role as Christy Beam in Miracles from Heaven.” (See trailer above.) Another mom-who-faces-staggering-loss role that Garner nailed.
