Superstar singer/songwriter Cyndi Lauper performed at the God’s Love We Deliver event in honor of Kinky Boots singer/actor Billy Porter. (Cindy wrote the music and lyrics for the Broadway show.) Cyndi turned heads when she arrived in a plunging double-breasted dress and a purple bob. The two-tone asymmetrical dress (one side is red, the other is a leopard print with a puffy sleeve) fits the petite 63-year-old star to a tee.
At the event, Cyndi reunited with her friend Dionne Warwick. Or as Cyndi puts it, she was “fangirling!”
When Cyndi’s accompanist Stephen Oremus shared the cute photo above, friends showered him and Cyndi with compliments regarding their performance which gave more than one fan “goosebumps.” If video of their performance surfaces, we’ll post it here!
