On August 21, the actress and all-around talent Drew Barrymore posted a photo that fans and fellow celebs just can’t get over. Drew captioned the post (see below) as “just a raw and calm thoughtful moment” and the photo became an immediate contender for the most striking photo ever taken of Ms. Barrymore. Now that’s saying something, since Drew, a show biz legend if there is one left, has been in front of the lens forever. Here it is. Wow.
David Netto says “I think this is the most beautiful picture of you I’ve ever seen.” While Chelsea Handler, feeling the love, writes simply “Hi baby.” The Young Sheldon actress Raegan Revord writes “beautiful” and author and fashion columnist Evan Ross Katz needs space and caps to spell out “G O R G E O U S.”
Fans trip over themselves to say how much Drew means to them — and this photo seems to capture the essence of her authenticity. “I love how you are so real. You are not phony like other celebrities.” While another writes: “Thanks for always being such an inspiration! And for being so down to earth and real. Your spirit is a gift to others.”
Drew’s strong spirit and gift are also on display for fans watching The Drew Barrymore Show, which premiered this season on September 13 with guest Jennifer Aniston!
