Plus-size model Anansa Sims is the daughter of power couple Beverly Johnson and the late Danny Sims. Beverly is the former supermodel who was the first African American model featured on the cover of Vogue (August 1974).
Danny was best known for signing Jamaican reggae singer Bob Marley and his band the Wailers to his American record label, JAD Records, in the late 1960s.
Anansa, who was married to former NFL player David Patterson (Atlanta Falcons), is now a 41-year-old mother of four children and 5’9″ plus-size model represented by the famous Wilhelmina modeling agency in Los Angeles.
When former NFL player turned America’s Next Top Model winner Keith Carlos saw the white hot bikini pic and video above, he replied, “Big Fish.” Anansa replied cheerfully with a cheeky emoji with its tongue sticking out.
Anansa captioned the sprawled out in a bikini by the pool pic above: “You’re a breath of fresh air.”
