Beyonce came out grateful AF as she bounced down a massive thank you to the “incredible human beings” who bought her new Adidas collab gear. Queen Bey praised those who stood in line in the snow and the rain so they could wear just something that had her IVY PARK imprimatur on it.
Beyonce was so geeked up with gratitude she danced for her people, and smiled and laughed and Run-DMC provided the iconic soundtrack.
Run-DMC put Adidas at the forefront of hip hop culture back when Air Jordan was just a twinkle in Nike’s eye. The iconic hip hop superstar trio out of Hollis, Queens, Run-DMC was founded in 1983 before Michael Jordan had played an NBA game.
And here is the tune — “My Adidas” — that Beyonce dances to — one of the few songs the Queen can’t just totally make her own but can only borrow, because its pedigree is so strong.
