On The Neighborhood episode “Welcome to the Bully,” Gemma Johnson (Beth Behrs) is caught in a hard place. When she learns that her son Grover (Hank Greenspan) got into a fight with a bully at school, Gemma wants to protect her son but she also needs to lay down the law as principal of the school.
The Season 2 premiere of The Neighborhood was filmed in front of a live audience. Before the show started, Behrs and her co-star Tichina Arnold (Tina Butler) were introduced to the crowd, jokingly, as the “subtle stars” of the show. Arnold and Behrs got the crowd revved up by dancing. While Behrs was twerking against a chair on the set, she was introduced as “June Carter Cash.” When she stopped twerking, Behrs laughed and asked if June Carter Cash ever danced like that. The answer is no!
Behrs captioned the video: “We have zero fun on this set zero!”
It’s not the first time Behrs has twerked in front of a camera. She has demonstrated her moves on Ellen, too, see above, and at People’s Choice Awards, see below.
The Neighborhood airs Mondays at 8 pm on CBS.
