Of late, Lady Gaga has been displaying her charitable side a lot. The Grammy Award-winning singer has declared that she would personally make sure that the children affected by the mass shootings in the US can resume their schooling without the least amount of difficulty — a challenge notoriously hard to rise to in the shooting-affected communities.
Gaga is taking this initiative to make returning to the school smoother where possible — and to return the school environments to some degree of normalcy.
Gaga has decided to pay for several schoolroom projects with the target cities being El Paso, Texas, Dayton, Ohio, and Gilroy, California. The funding for this entire charity program is coming from Gaga’s “Born This Way Foundation.” This is in partnership with the nonprofit group DonorsChoose.
The Lady Gaga fortune is expected to increase with the launch of her new cosmetics line, Haus Laboratories. The result of her increased wealth will likely be more good deeds. See a couple of Haus Labs post below.
The singer has arranged new books for third-grade students and provided the students with disabilities with special chairs to help them study in a comfortable environment. The fifth graders of Gilroy, for example, are getting fun new tools for their science lessons.
Gaga took to her Facebook page to update her fans about her plans. “I want to channel my confusion, frustration, and fury into hope.” she said.
Gaga is used to hearing people clap for her performances. But bringing a measure of hope to people and places affected by an especially violent week of mass killings is indeed something that deserves her a round of applause.
