On The Real Housewives of Orange County episode “Breakdown in Beverly Hills,” the cameras follow Gina to her therapy session. “A lot of stuff sucks right now,” Gina tells her therapist, Lynnette Wilhardt, LCSW, who wants to help Gina take “all that sucks” and turn it into something that will make her stronger.
Gina goes on to say that her ex-husband Matt has been dating the woman he had an affair with “for the past six months or so.”
Gina hasn’t told anyone and she’s let everything build up. “It’s like holding poison inside your body. And it’s just like starting to kill you.” She adds, “I feel like I’m drowning in his secrets.” She says the secret is “obviously embarrassing for Matt also it’s embarrassing for me.” Gina hopes that in time, “I won’t care as much.” Her therapist reassures her that she won’t, once she gets over the adversity. The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Tuesdays at 9 pm on Bravo.
