CBS knows what works on TV and the network is proving it by launching the matchmaking reality show Love Island. Eleven insanely gorgeous singles gather at a villa on a beach in Fiji and look for love. The men often don’t wear shirts and the women are often in bikinis. The host, Arielle Vandenberg, is easy on the eyes, too.
One of the 11 “islanders” is Alexandra Stewart. The 26-year-old publicist from Los Angeles used to be in a relationship with Sam Ficken, a professional football placekicker currently with the NFL’s Green Bay Packers. Ficken, the 6’1”, 191 lbs. athlete from Valparaiso, Indiana, played college football for the Penn State University Nittany Lions (Alex’s alma mater) before getting signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2016. In April 2019, the Packers claimed Ficken off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks.
