On the Love After Lockup: Life After Lockup episode “Second Chances,” after serving two years in prison, ex-con Brittany married Marcelino. Her new husband is angry because even though he has warned her about hanging out with felon friends from her past, she continues to do it. “The only real friends I’ve had are the ones I met in prison,” she says.
Now, in a custody battle with Tito, with the father of her baby, Brittany worries about Tito taking her baby away. Marcelino takes her to a lawyer who tells Brittany that’s a valid concern.
When the lawyer promises Brittany, “Your ex will bring up every single thing he knows about your past,” she starts to cry. He warns her, “You have to be ready mentally for those attacks.” Love After Lockup: Life After Lockup airs Fridays at 9 pm on WE, right before Bridezillas.
