On the Season 8 premiere of Basketball Wives, while Shaunie O’Neal stresses out about her 6’9″ college basketball playing son Shareef who needs open heart surgery, Evelyn Lozada spends time with her 5-year-old son Leo. Last season, Evelyn was engaged to MLB professional baseball player Carl Crawford, the father of Leo. This season, she is not. Evelyn and Leo move into a new house together which Evelyn loves — but she’s in a lot of pain, physical joint pain.

In the video below, Evelyn says she went from working out twice a day to “literally waking up one day and my entire body was super achy.” She’s seen taking drops of something to try to feel better but “nothing is working.” She says the ladies trip to Amsterdam last season was “mentally traumatizing” and affected her physically.
