Actor Zac Efron has a fish tale to tell. It’s not glamorous like so many embellished tales from Hollywood, but it’s real. And scaly. Efron shared a photo that seems to scream “celebrities are just regular people.” He was “fishing beside the 5 Freeway in Los Angeles,” caught what looks like a nice-size trout, and claims he ate it.
Who says urbanization destroys natural habitats like the LA River? Well, a lot of credible people do — but that didn’t stop Efron from catching and eating some urban seafood. Efron knows there’s some peril associated with such a diet. But the urban fly-fisherman boasts: “we didn’t get sick afterward.” Some fans were a little upset in the comments; Efron is a vegan, they thought.
