In the Season 3 finale of MacGyver, “Mason + Cable + Choices,” MacGyver (Lucas Till) faces off with Elliot Mason. CBS describes the new bad guy as “a cunning new adversary whose carefully crafted plans put Mac at the epicenter of an impossible choice: save the life of a friend, or save the lives of hundreds of innocents.”
Elliot Mason is portrayed by Peter Weller. The Oscar-nominated actor is known for his roles on Longmire (Lucian), The Last Ship (Dr. Paul Vellek), Sons of Anarchy (Charlie Barosky), Dexter (Stan Liddy), 24 (Christopher Henderson), Odyssey 5 (Chuck Taggart), and in films including Woody Allen’s Mighty Aphrodite (Jerry Bender), William S. Burroughs’ Naked Lunch (Bill Lee), and RoboCop (Murphy aka RoboCop), among others. MacGyver airs Fridays at 8 pm on CBS, right before Hawaii Five-0.
