In the Season 1 finale of The Cool Kids, “The Friend-aversary,” Hank (David Alan Grier), Charlie (Martin Mull) and Sid (Leslie Jordan) prepare their Friend-iversary party, and don’t include Margaret (Vicki Lawrence). Sid has his sights set on the patio for their party but first needs to convince the cat ladies to give it up.
The head cat lady is portrayed by guest star Lynn Marie Stewart. She’s known for her roles on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Charlie’s mom), Pee-wee’s Playhouse (Miss Yvonne), and in a variety of films over the years from Bridesmaids (Lillian’s mom) to American Graffiti (Bobbie), among others. Fun fact: Stewart played a variety of nurses on M*A*S*H* with fellow guest star Jamie Farr who plays Dudley. The Cool Kids airs Fridays at 8:30 pm on FOX, right after Last Man Standing.
