In the T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle episode “Mother’s Love,” T.I. and Tiny’s 14-year-old son King is rehearsing for his big show at Masquerade. Two of his siblings, Messiah and Niq Niq, decide to show up at the studio where he’s rehearsing, to give him some last minute tips. But the little King doesn’t want advice. King admits he’s “stressed out about different things about this show.” When asked to stand up and practice, he says he’s “getting mad” and orders his siblings to “stop rushing me.” Messiah, who accuses King of “getting sassy,” believes King was “a little overwhelmed with the cameras and the producers all in his face.”

When King’s mom Tiny walks into the studio, she tells King, “This ain’t that hard” and orders him to “get your mood together” which brings tears to King’s eyes. When King asks his mother, “Why you yelling?” she says, “Because you’re sittin’ here crying.” When King is led outside for some fresh air, Tiny tells the camera, “When he gets tough love, I think it really bothers him…it kinda kills his energy.” She adds, “However, he needs it, because he’s very stubborn.” T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle airs Mondays at 9 pm on VH1, right after Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.
