Now with Hobbs & Shaw wrapped and ready, Disney’s Jungle Cruise is getting all of Dwayne Johnson‘s massive marketing muscle. The Rock is taking people inside the production with some personal video, and he keeps shouting out his co-star Emily Blunt as a world-beater in just about every category. This time, he talks up her baking ability. (“My multitalented co-star Emily Blunt baked this amazing & delicious cake herself,” The Rock reveals.)
The actors and team took time out from a busy production schedule — Disney’s Jungle Cruise is due in theaters in summer 2020 — to salute and sing happy birthday to producer Hiram Garcia.
Garcia is The Rock’s main man. He’s president of Seven Bucks Productions, which was co-founded by Johnson, and he’s behind both Disney’s Jungle Cruise and Hobbs & Shaw. The Rock clearly loves Blunt, but that doesn’t stop him from giving her what he describes as a “stiff finger jab in the rib cage.” You can hear her cry out!
