Hollywood movie star Dwayne Johnson celebrated his 47th birthday on May 2. The former professional wrestler shared a photo of himself celebrating at home with his two youngest daughters, Tia and Jazzy, on his lap. The girls made him an apple cake with sprinkles and The Rock couldn’t look happier. In the caption of the photo, Johnson wrote the “only thing missing was my other daughter Simone.”
Simone Garcia Johnson is Johnson’s gorgeous 17-year-old daughter with his first wife Dany Garcia. In 2016, Johnson proudly announced Simone as the first-ever Golden Globes Ambassador (see video below). The title was formerly known as Miss Golden Globes. Each year the Hollywood Foreign Press Association selects a new ambassador. (Idris Elba’s daughter Isan was named 2019 Golden Globes Ambassador.)
Johnson will appear next on the big screen in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Show (as Luke Hobbs), which will be in theaters on August 2. He’s currently filming the Jumanji sequel and it’s been announced that there’s going to be a San Andreas 2. No wonder why his birthday post included the hashtag #DaddysGottaGoToWork. Note: Johnson is married to the mother of one-year-old Tia and 4-year-old Jazzy, Lauren Hashian.
